<p>Gail Smith is a Garda who is attached to the Regional Traffic Department in Dublin Castle.  She diid her initial training in the Garda College in Templemore and before she was accepted into the Divisional Traffic Department, she had to sit an interview and pass a 'standard' motorcycle course. This was a four week course where she drove a Kawasaki 550 motorcycle.</p>

Declan Rice is a Firefighter/Paramedic in the Dublin Fire Brigade.  Before joining the Fire Brigade he held a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Science and a Degree in Biomedical Science.  He always wanted to be a Firefighter and was sucessful on his third application. The recruit firefighter training in Dublin Fire Brigade was second to none, according to Rice, although he said it was a hard slog on the body and the mind.

David works as an AITI Tax Consultant for his own company, Clancy & Associates, based in Dublin, which he setup in 1998. He completed his Leaving Cert in St. Josephs CBS, Fairview, and went on to do a BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies) in DCU (Dublin City University). He then completed the Associateship of the Irish Tax Institute (AITI).

Sarah decided she wanted to work in the Retail sector whan she was 15 after working at the local corner shop. She is now realising her ambition to work for a big company by undertaking the Lidl Retail Manager Degree programme, run in conjunction with Dublin Business School. Being paid while completing a Level 7 Degree programme gives her the best of both worlds, and a clear career path for the future.

Maria Kinsella-White works as an Operations Consultant for McDonald's. Following her Leaving Certificate she did a Diploma in Accountancy & Computer Technology, a Secretarial Course and Various computer courses (Excel, Word, Outlook, AS400 etc). She is responsible for providing leadership and direction for six restaurants, to maximise their long-term sales and profit potential & to build a positive business relationship with Restaurant Managers and the Restaurant Management Team.

Billy Condon works as an Electrical Engineer with the ESB. After completing his Leaving Cert he went to University College Cork and graduated with Electrical Engineering. He went on to do a Masters in Sustainable Energy before joining ESB on their Graduate program. Billy also participates in delivering the STEPS to Engineering program run by the Institute of Engineers.
