Lydia works as a Health Care Assistant for the HSE and is based in St. Joseph's Hospital in Co. Meath. Lydia has worked in patient care throughout her career, and has completed an Honours Degree in Industrial Relations/HR in recent years. She would now like to move more into the Human Resources area and work on bringing about change that benefits all.

Gareth works in the Bank of Ireland on our GB/NI Graduate Development Programme and is currently based in Luton, England. The programme lasts 18 months and will engage Gareth in a wide range of responsibilities. Gareth is currently working in the property market, working to ensure that any deals are made on a sound financial basis.

Nora Barry is a Third Secretary working in the Press Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs.  She is currently working out of Ivy House in Dublin but is being sent on assignment to Washington in the next few months.  She holds a Bachelor of Education from St Patricks College, Drumcondra.

Glen Lucas is a professional Woodturner. Following his Leaving Certificate he did some classes with professional woodturners.  He also undertook a FÁS cabinet making course.  Following a Business Skills Course which he took with the Craft Council of Ireland he set up his own workshop in 1997.

Ronan Quinn is a Garda attached to the Divisional Traffic Corps. He completed a four year Diploma in International Hotel Management and Business with French in the Shannon College of Hotel Management and worked in the hospitality industry for a number of years.  When the age limit for joining the Gardai Siochana was increased to 35, he jumped at the opportunity of joining and hasn't looked back.

Brian is an Entrepreneur who setup his own business from ideas he encountered as a PHD student in UCD. After completing a general Science degree in UCD, he chose to pursue a PHD within the Chemistry dept, with aspirations for a career in the Pharma Chemical sector. His company, Celtic Catalysts, currently employs 17 staff and provides the Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical industries with pioneering chemistry for asymmetric synthesis.
